About the Role

We're seeking a seasoned engineer to lead our Liquid Distribution Subsystem team. As Technical Lead, you'll be responsible for providing technical guidance, mentoring team members, and driving the development of our fluid systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical leadership and expertise to the team
  • Develop and implement technical approaches to complex problems
  • Mentor and train team members to ensure knowledge transfer and growth
  • Work closely with internal and external suppliers to design, build, test, and analyze components
  • Plan and manage component schedules, risks, and mitigation plans
Requirements
  • B.S. in Aerospace, Electrical, Mechanical, Physics, Systems Engineering, or related field
  • 8+ years of experience in fluids and mechanical systems/components
  • Experience developing, integrating, and certifying aerospace systems for flight
  • Strong understanding of fluid/gas components, including solenoid valves, directional valves, manifolds, regulators, pressure vessels, and instrumentation
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • M.S. in Aerospace, Electrical, Mechanical, Physics, Systems Engineering, or related field
  • Systems Engineering experience, specifically requirements and interface definition, management, and verification
  • Cryogenic fluids experience
  • Proficiency in 3D CAD programs (Creo preferred) and Finite Element Analysis (FEA) programs (ANSYS preferred)
