We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR Generalist to join our team at Celerity Staffing Solutions.
Job Summary:The HR Generalist will be responsible for creating an engaging and compliant environment for our employees. This includes recruitment, compliance, onboarding, employee advocacy, union liaison, and training facilitation.
Key Responsibilities:- Recruitment: Coordinate recruitment efforts by identifying top talent sources, conducting interviews, and extending offers.
- Compliance: Ensure we meet all legal HR requirements, from OSHA compliance to the Affirmative Action Plan, while monitoring workers' compensation claims.
- Onboarding: Lead engaging new hire orientations that welcome our newest members and set them up for success.
- Employee Advocacy: Serve as a trusted resource for HR inquiries, assist with benefits enrollment, and conduct insightful stay and exit interviews.
- Union Liaison: Manage communications and address any grievances with the union to foster a harmonious workplace.
- Training Facilitation: Support employee development by running training sessions and ensuring all staff complete required courses.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Bachelor's degree in HR or related field preferred.
- 1-3 years of HR management experience is preferred.
- PHR or SPHR certification is a plus.
- Knowledge of UKG HRIS and collective bargaining agreements is preferred.
- Bilingual skills are required.
