Medical Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at Schweiger Dermatology Group. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare providers in a fast-paced medical setting.
Responsibilities- Assist healthcare providers with medical, cosmetic, and laser procedures
- Record prescribed treatments, medications, biopsies, cultures, photos, prescriptions, prior authorization, and procedures within established guidelines
- Prep rooms before and after patients, ensuring all equipment is in proper working order
- Provide pre-care and post-care treatment instructions as needed
- Perform daily inventory responsibilities and stocking of supplies and equipment
- Attend all in-house training and continued education opportunities
- Healthcare experience required
- Nationally Certified Medical Assistant preferred
- Experience using EMR software and patient scheduling systems
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Excellent patient relation and customer services skills
