Quality Assurance Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance/Improvement Coordinator to join our team at Butte County, CA. The successful candidate will be responsible for administering quality assurance programs for Medi-Cal and behavioral health treatment services to County residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provides coaching, counseling, and guidance on professional responsibilities and technical skills.
- Facilitates and guides development of behavioral health assessment and treatment programs.
- Reviews and critiques performance and outcome measures.
- Assesses quality and conformance to Medi-Cal standards for cases, counselors, and clinicians.
- Guides, supervises, and assists staff; prioritizes and assigns projects.
- Develops staff skills and conducts performance evaluations.
- Identifies training needs and provides training for staff.
- Leads and manages multi-disciplinary team meetings to review client caseload, treatment, concerns, and recommendations.
- Reviews and approves progress reports.
- Meets regularly with staff to solicit input and offer guidance.
- Analyzes and evaluates issues and proposals, develops recommendations, and directs the implementation of solutions.
- Collaborates with executive management in formulating policies, procedures, best practices, and action plans.
- Develops and presents recommendations for administration of behavioral health programs.
- Manages activities to meet key Medi-Cal performance results.
- Monitors data reliability and auditing of required reports to determine compliance to state performance measures.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in social work, counseling, psychiatric nursing, or a PhD or PsyD in Psychology.
- Three (3) years of licensed professional experience in behavioral science and one (1) year of supervisory experience in a clinical setting.
- Valid California license as a Clinical Social Worker, Marriage Family Therapist, Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, or Psychologist.
- Valid US driver's license.
