Job Summary:

Oroville Hospital is seeking a skilled Urogynecology Specialist to join our team. As a Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner, you will provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide medical services consistent with your education, training, and experience, and delegated in writing by a supervising physician.
  • Consult with a physician regarding tasks, procedures, or diagnostic problems that exceed your level of competence.
  • Refer cases to a physician when necessary.

Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant Program/Nurse Practitioner Program.
  • Current licensure by the California Physician Assistant Board or California Board of Registered Nursing, Nurse Practitioners.
  • American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider certification or American Red Cross Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers certification.
  • ACLS preferred.
  • Recent/previous work experience in primary health care setting (preferred).
  • Ability to prioritize and problem solve.
  • Ability to maintain sensitivity and objectivity to patients, family, and significant others of all ages.
  • Demonstrates reliability and flexibility with work schedule.

Working Conditions:

This position requires sedentary work, with occasional lifting and carrying of small items.
