Responsibilities:


The Surgical Services Technician is responsible for preparing sterile supplies and instruments for each assigned procedure, maintaining a sterile field during surgeries, and providing the surgeon with necessary sterile supplies and instruments throughout the procedures.


Qualifications:
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent or related experience required for new hires effective April 2014.
  • Graduate of an ORT training program or equivalent on-the-job training with a minimum of 3 years of experience (surgical setting preferred).
  • Experience in scrubbing for both minor and major procedures across generalized surgical specialties, including GYN, General, and Plastics.
  • Experience in scrubbing at least minor procedures in specialty surgical areas (e.g., ortho, neuro, ENT, Uro, etc.).
  • Current BLS (AHA) certification upon hire and maintenance of current certification.
The current compensation range for this role is $29.42 to $40.73.

The exact starting compensation will be determined at the time of hiring, considering a wide range of factors, including skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
