Key Responsibilities- Assist surgeons and other medical staff during surgical procedures, ensuring the availability of necessary instruments and supplies.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to maintain a safe and respectful environment.
- Prepare and maintain surgical equipment, instruments, and supplies, adhering to sterile technique and infection control protocols.
- Participate in pre-operative and post-operative patient care, including vital sign monitoring and documentation.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure efficient and effective surgical procedures.
- Current certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) or Certified Surgical Assistant (CSA).
- One year of experience as a Surgical Technician or related role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to maintain a high level of concentration and attention to detail during surgical procedures.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
