Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Team Lead to join our team at La Lomita, Inc. As a Team Lead, you will be responsible for managing the shift in the absence of the General Manager or Assistant Store Manager, ensuring the store runs smoothly and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and motivate staff to achieve sales goals and provide excellent customer service
  • Manage staff schedules and ensure adequate coverage during peak periods
  • Provide fast, friendly, and professional customer service, resolving any issues promptly and efficiently
  • Ensure all safety and security issues are overseen, maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and employees
  • Ensure all merchandise is stocked and displays are properly set up, maintaining a visually appealing store environment

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in the C-store industry, with a strong background in customer service and sales
  • Food experience preferred, but not required
  • Available for nights and weekends occasionally, with flexibility to work a variety of shifts
  • Customer service experience in retail, with a strong focus on providing excellent customer service
  • Some management or team lead experience preferred, but not required

Education

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent, with a strong focus on education and personal development

Work Environment

  • Work is performed primarily inside a retail store and an outdoor environment, with a focus on providing excellent customer service and maintaining a safe and secure environment
