Job Title: Competitive Events Coordinator

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Competitive Events Coordinator at Snowshoe Mountain Resort.

Job Summary:

The Competitive Events Coordinator will be responsible for enhancing the mountain experience for guests and staff by assisting in the development, growth, and execution of events and animation activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the organization, scheduling, and execution of events and animation activities.
  • Uphold standards for guest satisfaction, communication, and animation.
  • Contribute to the development of events and animation plans.
  • Assist with the coordination of the Village Artisan Program and Volunteer Program.
  • Help to ensure successful execution of events and animation activities.
  • Minimize resort liability risks by adhering to company safety and liability policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Basic computer skills required.
  • Prior experience in organizing, coordinating, and/or executing group functions, activities, or other events.
  • 6 months of experience in a related field.
Work Environment:

The Competitive Events Coordinator will work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of exposure to cold, snow, wind, rain, bugs, sun, high altitude, extreme heights, lightning, etc. The position requires the ability to lift, carry, or otherwise move and position a minimum of 20 pounds on an occasional basis.
