Phlebotomy Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Phlebotomist to join our team at Alverno Laboratories. As a Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for collecting blood specimens, performing laboratory office duties, and processing laboratory specimens.
Key Responsibilities- Collect blood specimens from patients in a safe and efficient manner
- Perform laboratory office duties, including registering patients, entering data into the computer system, and processing paperwork
- Process laboratory specimens, including preparation for testing and/or sending to the central laboratory or reference laboratory
- Perform limited waived and specified non-waived POC tests as authorized by the Laboratory Director
- Act as a driver and participate in the on-call rotation in some facilities
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Previous phlebotomy experience and/or training required
- Background in a medical laboratory and/or knowledge of medical terminology preferred
- Valid driver's license and good driving record
- May be required to travel/drive to other locations
