Job Summary:

Insight is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented MRI Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing daily imaging activities, ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety, and maintaining the cleanliness and proper utilization of imaging equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and position patients for MRI exams, selecting anatomic and technical parameters accurately to produce high-quality images.
  • Educate and explain procedures to patients, ensuring their safety and comfort during the examination.
  • Operate and oversee MRI equipment to produce images of the body for diagnostic purposes.
  • Record, process, and maintain patient data and treatment records, preparing reports as needed.
  • Follow radiation safety procedures, using protection devices to comply with governmental regulations and ensure patient and staff safety.
  • Review and evaluate computer-generated images to determine their suitability for diagnostic purposes.
  • Follow physician or provider instructions regarding patient care management.
  • Attend required meetings and participate in committees, maintaining work area according to OSHA guidelines.
  • Participate in professional development activities and maintain professional affiliations/credentials to remain compliant with regulatory guidelines.
Requirements:
  • Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in MRI.
  • Active Certified BLS Provider (Basic Life Support) or completion within 3 months of hire date.
  • One year of experience in radiologic imaging, with knowledge of Siemens and Phillips equipment.
  • Demonstrated skills in verbal and written English communication for safe and effective patient care.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced and stressful environment, maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Willingness to participate in goal-setting and educational activities for professional advancement.
  • Able to work compassionately with patients and coworkers, demonstrating patient care second to none.
