We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team at ThedaCare. As a Certified Clinical Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and support services.
Key Accountabilities:- Support physicians and advanced practice clinicians with patient exams and procedures.
- Accurately document patient information in electronic health records.
- Collaborate with the care team to ensure seamless patient care delivery.
- Provide education to patients on healthy practices and safe care outcomes.
- A valid certification or registration through the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) or equivalent is required.
- American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is also mandatory.
- One year experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant or Patient Care Technician is preferred.
- Within three years of employment, must have valid certification or registration through the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) or equivalent.
