Resident Medication Aide

The Aspenwood Company - Clayton Oaks Living is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Resident Medication Aide to join our team. As a Resident Medication Aide, you will play a vital role in providing direct care to our residents, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
Key Responsibilities:- Administer medication and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor residents for occurrence of medication interactions and side effects, and notify the healthcare team
- Assist residents with medication as defined in medication procedure
- Supervise residents who self-administer medication
- Maintain residents' records daily in a timely manner and in accordance with company policy and procedure
- High School diploma or GED required
- 6 months to 1 year of prior resident care experience, preferably with seniors
- Delegated by a Registered Nurse for medication administration
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong problem-solving skills, good judgment, and attention to detail
