Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Certified Nurse Aide to join our team at Westminster Canterbury Richmond. As a Medication Aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents by administering medications and providing assistance with daily living activities.

Responsibilities
  • Administer medications to residents as prescribed by physicians and document accordingly
  • Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs)
  • Monitor and document resident vital signs, intake/output, weights, and blood sugars as necessary
  • Report concerns or suggestions for changes/additions to the nurse in charge and/or manager
  • Transport residents to appointments and activities
  • Adhere to change of shift procedure and maintain regulatory compliance
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalency
  • Certificate to practice as a Certified Nurse Aide in the State of Virginia in good standing
  • Registered to practice as a Medication Aide in the State of Virginia in good standing
  • One-year experience administering medications in an assisted living facility (desired)
