Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Travel Nurse Job Opportunity

Epic Travel Staffing is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) travel nurse to join our team. As a PICU travel nurse, you will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic and compassionate team of healthcare professionals in a fast-paced and challenging environment.

Job Summary

We are seeking a PICU travel nurse to work in a state-of-the-art pediatric intensive care unit. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pediatric critical care and be able to work effectively in a team environment. The PICU travel nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill children, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans, and participating in ongoing education and professional development opportunities.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care to critically ill children in a pediatric intensive care unit
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development opportunities
  • Work effectively in a team environment to provide comprehensive care to patients and families
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
Requirements
  • Current RN licensure in the state of practice
  • 2 years of experience in pediatric critical care
  • Current BLS and PALS certifications
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
