About the Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Nurse to join our team at a top-rated hospital in Charleston, South Carolina. As a PICU RN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill or surgical pediatric patients. Your expertise and compassion will make a significant difference in the lives of our young patients and their families.

Responsibilities
  • Provide intensive nursing care and continuous monitoring of breathing, heart rate, and blood pressure
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team
  • Document patient progress and communicate with families and healthcare providers
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of recent experience in the PICU
  • Active license or accreditation in one of the 50 US states
  • Additional requirements and certifications as requested by the facility/unit
