Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Contract Analyst to join our team at Amyx. As a key member of our acquisition management team, you will be responsible for providing expert technical advice and support to foster the development of guidelines, implementation of new developments, and expert interpretation of complex contracting principles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional knowledge of all phases of acquisition management, including price and cost analysis, fact-finding, and problem resolution.
  • Develop and implement concrete action plans to solve complex problems and provide expert technical advice to stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date with Federal and DoD contracting principles, including the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), DoD Directives and Instructions, laws, regulations, and procedures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to foster the development of guidelines, implementation of new developments, and expert interpretation of complex contracting principles.
  • Provide expert technical advice, staff coordination, and consultation to support the development of contracting strategies and solutions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree with a major in any field, including at least 24 semester hours of accounting, business, finance, law, contracts, purchasing, economics, industrial management, marketing, quantitative methods, or organization.
  • Minimum 10 years of direct Federal procurement experience, including 5 years as a Federal government employee in the 1102 series (or equivalent) as a contract specialist or procurement analyst, and an additional 5 years of experience as a Federal or contract employee in direct support of Federal procurements serving in a capacity equivalent to the 1102 series contract specialist or procurement analyst.
