Sweetbrook LLC is seeking a seasoned Land Surveyor to lead our surveying team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for preparing survey mapping, including boundary and topographic surveys, easements, and subdivision plans.

About the Role

  • This position requires a high level of proficiency in Civil 3D software and strong leadership skills to effectively coordinate with clients and team members.
  • The ideal candidate will have a valid license as a Land Surveyor (MA, CT, or RI) or LSIT certification with a willingness to obtain a license within one year.
  • You will work closely with senior project managers to ensure timely completion of projects and maintain high-quality results.

Duties

  • Manage field crews, conduct field surveys, and import data from field crews.
  • Create topographic maps using TIN surfaces based on survey data.
  • Research land records and ensure compliance with company standards and procedures.

Qualifications

  • Licensed Land Surveyor (MA, CT, or RI) or LSIT certification with ability to obtain license within one year.
  • Proficiency in Civil 3D software (2+ years minimum).
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions, walking long distances, and carrying survey equipment.

Benefits

$95,000 - $115,000 per year, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Sweetbrook LLC offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, vision insurance, dental insurance, accident insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, paid holidays, and paid time off. Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8-hour shift. Education: High school or equivalent; Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Land Surveying or related discipline desired.
