Job Summary


This Senior Staff Accountant role with our growing partner presents a unique opportunity to leverage your expertise in tax-related tasks. As part of a progressive and innovative team, you will work closely with colleagues and management to ensure efficient compliance with tax obligations.

Responsibilities:
1. Prepare and review corporate, individual, and partnership tax returns, ensuring accuracy and adherence to regulations.
2. Conduct research to optimize tax strategies, identifying opportunities for financial efficiency.
3. Coordinate and manage tax audits, maintaining effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
4. Develop and implement tax plans that support the company's financial goals, leveraging knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws.
5. Prepare and review quarterly and annual tax reports, providing key insights to inform business decisions.
6. Collaborate with the team on the development of automated tax systems and processes, driving process improvements.
7. Engage with management and staff on tax-related matters, offering guidance and support to ensure informed decision-making.
8. Stay up-to-date with changes in tax legislation, providing expert advice on the impact of new laws and regulations on business operations.

Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a Master's degree or CPA certification is preferred.
2. At least 2 years of experience in tax accounting, with a background in manufacturing or oil and gas being an advantage.
3. Proficiency in tax software and strong analytical skills to navigate complex tax scenarios.
4. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively within a team environment.
5. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects concurrently while meeting tight deadlines.
6. Proven leadership abilities and experience in managing teams.

Compensation:
$70,000 - $95,000 per year. Our salary range reflects the importance of this role and our commitment to competitive compensation.
