Our goal is to provide social, academic, and aspirational resources to our scholars, ensuring that talented individuals can influence the future of finance.
Role Summary: As a Greenwood Project Scholar focusing on Financial Services, you will embark on a transformative experience designed to equip you with the essential skills, knowledge, and connections needed to thrive in this vibrant industry. We are currently seeking candidates for our summer internship program. Eligible applicants include sophomores and juniors. Upon acceptance, you will participate in an extensive training program, followed by hands-on experience that will provide valuable insights into various facets of finance, preparing you for a potential internship placement with our esteemed partner organizations. Please note that training and internships are not guaranteed.
What positions are available? We recruit for a variety of roles across four primary sectors. We encourage applicants from all academic backgrounds to apply:
- Sales and Relationship Management

- Operations and Risk Management
- Traditional Corporate Roles

Key Responsibilities:
- Engage in tailored training sessions designed to enhance your skill set and align with your chosen major, which may include Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Engineering, Coding, Information Technology, and Cyber Security.
- Collaborate with fellow scholars to tackle real-world financial challenges and devise innovative solutions.
- Complete assigned tasks and projects to showcase your understanding and proficiency in financial services concepts.
- Participate in networking events, mentorship programs, and growth opportunities to broaden your professional network and enhance your career trajectory.
- Embrace a culture of excellence, curiosity, and continuous learning, positioning yourself as a future leader in the financial sector.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Demonstrated curiosity, eagerness to learn, and adaptability to new challenges.
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Currently enrolled as a sophomore or junior in a relevant major (Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Communications, Marketing, HR, Operations, or Sales).
- Commitment to excellence, integrity, and teamwork.
- Transcripts may be requested.
- A personal essay is required if GPA is below 3.0.
