Job Summary:

The Medical Director at Midtown Health Center is responsible for delivering high-quality medical care to patients and serving as a member of the multi-disciplinary healthcare team. This role requires a strong commitment to patient-centered care and a focus on delivering exceptional outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provides direct patient care to clinic patients, examining, diagnosing, and prescribing appropriate treatment plans.
  • Follows established standards of care for each patient and refers patients for specialty care services as needed.
  • Maintains accurate and up-to-date health records for all patients and provides clear follow-up instructions.
  • Participates in health promotion, education, and prevention programs and contributes to the development of patient care policies and procedures.
  • Remains current with medical and healthcare trends and information that impact the medical practice.

Requirements:

  • Medical degree from an accredited school of medicine.
  • Current unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Nebraska.
  • Current DEA license and ability to meet all credentialing requirements.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to utilize own transportation for work purposes.

Working Conditions:

The Medical Director will work in a smoke-free and drug-free environment, with frequent exposure to communicable diseases, bodily fluids, and other conditions common to a clinic environment.
