Job Summary

High Tech High is seeking a highly qualified High School Math Teacher to join our teaching team at one of our six high schools. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and facilitating meaningful project work, creating and maintaining learning environments that promote student engagement and academic growth, and working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve school-wide performance goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement project-based lesson plans that align with High Tech High's design principles of equity, personalization, authentic work, and collaborative design.
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning experiences and promote student engagement.
  • Assess student progress and adjust instruction to meet the needs of all learners.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree and valid California Single Subject Teaching Credential or out-of-state teaching license in mathematics.
