Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure Compliance: Ensure compliance with security requirements at various levels, including regulatory and industry standards.
  • Design Reviews: Conduct design reviews based on directives, frameworks, and standards to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Participate in Reviews: Participate in Design Reviews, Go-Live, and Transition Reviews to ensure seamless implementation and transition of security measures.
  • Technical Expertise: Offer technical expertise and recommendations for information systems, including risk assessments and mitigation strategies.
  • Security Portfolio: Assist in creating and maintaining a Security Design Assessment Portfolio to track and document security assessments and recommendations.
  • Risk Assessment Reports: Provide Risk Assessment Reports and Acceptance of Risk memorandums to stakeholders.
  • Operational Risk Management: Support operational risk management for systems, including identifying and mitigating potential risks.
  • Cyber Product Integration: Integrate Cyber products with hardware and software to ensure seamless operation and security.
  • Security Policies and Procedures: Manage and provide support for security policies and procedures to ensure compliance and best practices.
Requirements:
  • Active Secret Clearance: Active Secret clearance or higher is required for this position.
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in an IT-related field with 3-7 years of experience in Information Assurance technology.
  • Certifications: DoD 8570 IAM/IAT Level II certification is required.
  • Technical Skills: Extensive experience in Information Assurance technology, proficiency in Risk Management Framework and NIST standards, familiarity with CIRT processes and security controls, understanding of STIGs, SRGs, and Common Control Processes.
  • Soft Skills: Project management and technical writing skills, excellent communication skills.
