About the Role

The Surgical Technologist plays a vital role in the operating room, working closely with surgeons and registered nurses to ensure the safe and effective conduct of invasive surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate the safe and effective conduct of invasive surgical procedures
  • Ensure the operating room environment is safe and equipment functions properly
  • Implement sterile and aseptic technique to minimize the risk of infection
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Surgical Technology program or Military Training Equivalent (68D – Operating Room Specialist)
  • Previous Surgical Technologist experience preferred
  • Current Surgical Tech Certification preferred
