Job Description:

Mayo Clinic is seeking an experienced Ambulatory Nurse Manager to oversee the implementation of our vision, mission, and values within our departments of Nursing and Laboratory Medicine and Pathology.

The successful candidate will plan, direct, coordinate, and evaluate operational, fiscal, and personnel activities to ensure high-quality care in ambulatory and hospital-based procedural settings.

  • Oversight of quality and service, regulatory compliance, work unit safety, strategic planning, document management, and developing new services.
  • Full-time management responsibilities of clinical nursing staff, including budget planning and resource allocation.
  • Collaboration with nursing personnel and other healthcare disciplines to promote ongoing development and a professional work environment.
Responsibilities:

The Ambulatory Nurse Manager will:

  1. Implement the vision, mission, and values of Mayo Clinic and the departments of Nursing and Laboratory Medicine and Pathology.
  2. Plan, direct, coordinate, and evaluate operational, fiscal, and personnel activities.
  3. Oversee quality and service, regulatory compliance, work unit safety, strategic planning, document management, and developing new services.
  4. Manage the nursing component of the total budget and allocate resources for efficient, effective, safe, and compassionate care.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Graduate of an accredited baccalaureate nursing program.
  • Minimum of three years of nursing practice or progressive leadership experience.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability and experience in the department's specialty.

  • Salary range: $100,000 - $150,779.20 per year.
  • Benefits eligibility: Yes.
  • Schedule: Full-time, Monday - Friday, with additional hours as needed.
  • Weekend schedule: As needed to support business needs.
