Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Technician to join our team at Zachry Group. As an Electrical Technician, you will be responsible for installing, modifying, and fabricating electrical systems and equipment.

Responsibilities
  • Identify and acquire all necessary tools and equipment for tasks.
  • Assess and mitigate safety risks associated with electrical work.
  • Assist in the installation, modification, and fabrication of cable tray and electrical equipment.
  • Assist in pulling cables through specified pathways and terminating wires and cables to electrical equipment.
  • Assist in testing electrical components for continuity and proper voltage readings.
  • Assist in inspecting electrical equipment and components to identify hazards and ensure proper operation.
  • Assist in setting up and maintaining temporary power systems and grounding systems for equipment and structures.
  • Assist in hoisting equipment and tools into place via bull rigging or crane.
Qualifications
  • Must be able to stand, walk, bend, squat, sit, and lift for extended periods.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively and use arms and hands to signal, grab, hold, turn, push, and pull objects, materials, controls, and tools.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs and work at heights, climb ladders and stairways, and work off platforms/scaffolding using fall protection requirements.
  • Must be able to work in all weather conditions while wearing personal protective equipment (PPE).
