About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and certified Lifeguard to join our team at the Columbia North YMCA. As a Lifeguard, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of our members and participants in the pool area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Under the supervision of the Aquatic Leader, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and clean aquatic environment.
  • You will be expected to enforce all pool rules, recognize emergencies, and rescue individuals in distress.
  • Maintain current certifications and physical fitness requirements.
  • Perform endurance swims and rescue procedures at required monthly in-service meetings.
