Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Water Resources Engineer to join our team at RS&H. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will provide professional engineering consultation in the planning, design, and coordination of diverse projects.

Responsibilities include developing and evaluating engineering reports, plans, and specification criteria, as well as coordinating with project teams and clients to determine objectives and requirements.

You will also review junior staff's work for technical accuracy and provide technical guidance to other professionals and technicians.

Additionally, you may be responsible for reviewing and approving scopes, budgets, and schedules for assignments, serving as a team expert and/or project lead, and managing a small team of direct reports.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of relevant experience in water resources engineering
  • Professional engineer in good standing
  • Knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local codes, criteria, regulations, and ordinances
  • Proficiency in production software and construction document production
  • Proven ability to address challenging issues in a professional and business-like manner
  • Experience working on major projects and providing technical guidance to junior-level staff
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
