As a Pharmacy Operations Manager at Walgreens, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient operation of our pharmacy department. This includes overseeing day-to-day non-clinical pharmacy operations, administrative activities, and ensuring a positive patient experience.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage pharmacy workflow and drive excellence in pharmacy operations
- Coordinate and organize pharmacy daily schedule of activities
- Recommends allocation of pharmacy hours and ensures tasks are completed on-time
- Manages core pharmacy workflow and holds others accountable for efficient workflow
- Ensures compliance and execution of all business administrative activities and pharmacy inventory management tasks
- Leads performance management of technicians, including making decisions and recommendations regarding discipline and termination
- Assists Pharmacy Manager in monitoring that all pharmacy and team member licensures, registrations, and certifications are active and in good standing
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
- PTCB or ExCPT certification (except in Puerto Rico)
- One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting
- Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico)
- Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours
- Previous people management/leadership experience
- Previous work experience with Walgreens with an Exceeding Expectation on last performance evaluation
Walgreens offers a competitive salary range of $22.50 per hour - $31.00 per hour, depending on geography, skills, and experience. We also offer a range of benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
