Job Summary:This is a senior-level position in application/system engineering, responsible for defining high-density module products in cloud computing power solutions for CPU, GPU, ASIC, and SOC. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in switch mode power supply designs, particularly in multi-phase core power design.
Key Responsibilities:- Work with design engineers, field applications team, and marketing to define high-density module products.
- Develop application reference circuits and system-level power management solutions for Data Center/AI applications.
- Hands-on lab bench evaluations, system and board-level debugging, and prototype demonstrations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support existing products and drive new product development.
- Write technical documents, including datasheets, application notes, and design notes.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in switch mode power supply designs, especially in multi-phase core power design.
- Prior work experience in multi-phase products is highly preferred.
- Experience with simulation tools like Simplis, Maxwell, and Icepak is preferred.
- Experience in PCB design/layout is a plus.
- Fluent communication skills in English.
- Excellent writing and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated.
- MSEE or higher required.
Kirkland, WA
MPS offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health care coverage, dental and vision, 401(K), Employee Stock Purchase Program (ESPP), and more. Pay is based on market location and may vary based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job-related reasons. The base salary range for this position in Washington is $130,000-$170,000.
