Supplier Risk Assessment Specialist - Hybrid Overview:

The Supplier Risk Assessment Specialist will assist in evaluating and mitigating risks associated with third-party vendors by supporting and executing the Supplier Due Diligence process within Global Procurement & Third Party Management.

This position is essential in refining supplier due diligence methodologies, overseeing operational elements of established due diligence processes, and executing additional third-party risk-related functions as required.


Key Responsibilities:
Conducts evaluations of third-party risks and manages supplier due diligence processes utilizing our enterprise risk assessment tool.
Engages in research and collaborates with internal experts to identify and document risks uncovered during evaluations and due diligence procedures.
Monitors and anticipates market trends concerning commercially available supplier due diligence and risk management tools and systems.

Facilitates and generates third-party risk reports and key risk metrics, aiding in the coordination and communication of third-party risk findings and reports to stakeholders to guide business decisions.

Acts as an initial reviewer and checkpoint for basic contractual risk compliance with the business unit.

Creates business intelligence dashboards or templates for due diligence tasks to support decision-making and enhance risk monitoring across supplier categories.

Maintains and oversees third-party profiles and risk workspaces within our third-party risk management tool.
Identifies and communicates third-party risks to business leaders and other stakeholders during the sourcing process and category planning.
Participates in special projects and assessments related to third-party risk and due diligence.
Escalates issues or risks internally when necessary.
Collaborates with stakeholders, matrix partners, and other subject matter experts to continuously enhance our third-party risk processes.
Evaluates the financial stability of companies as needed during the risk diligence process.

Qualifications:


Familiarity with third-party risk management, due diligence, and KYS (Know Your Supplier) principles, TPRM best practices, and related industry standards.

Ability to interpret third-party financial statements and assess their implications or risks for internal stakeholders.
Recognize indicators within an organization that may lead to heightened financial or other risks.
Exhibit basic project management and documentation skills to handle multiple concurrent workstreams.
Ability to compile reports, summaries, and presentations to convey findings to key stakeholders within the organization.
Exceptional communication skills (both verbal and written) to effectively interact, establish credibility, and influence at all levels.
Strong analytical capabilities and critical thinking skills.
Experience with D&B Data and Insights is preferred.
A college degree in Third Party Risk, Finance, Accounting, or Supply Chain Management is preferred.
