Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Cybersecurity professional to conduct thorough assessments of applications and infrastructure, ensuring the protection of confidentiality, integrity, and availability. This role involves collaborating with IT and business stakeholders to address security concerns identified through evaluations and scanning reports. Join our dynamic security team as we enhance our program to support an Agile IT environment and strengthen Cigna's security framework while improving customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recommend and implement innovative tools, technologies, and methodologies to facilitate automated application security testing within the development lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with the enterprise to design and deploy security solutions that align with Security Architecture, business objectives, technology advancements, and threat landscapes.
  • Conduct risk assessments for existing and new services and technologies, identifying design vulnerabilities and proposing security improvements.
  • Communicate findings from risk assessments to information security clients or business partners effectively.
  • Act as a trusted advisor and information security expert to IT and business partners, enabling informed risk management decisions.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance risk posture, developing strategies for remediation or mitigation of risks and evaluating residual risk.
  • Maintain strong relationships with individuals and teams involved in managing information risks across the organization.
  • Stay informed about current and emerging security threats, designing architectures to mitigate these risks.

Required Skillsets:

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate risks and potential solutions clearly to business stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience with relevant certifications.
  • A minimum of six years of relevant experience in the field.
  • Experience with information security management frameworks (e.g., ISO 27000, COBIT, NIST 800) and familiarity with regulatory compliance is advantageous.
  • Certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Cloud Information Professional (CCSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), and/or Certified Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC) are preferred.
  • Proficient understanding of technologies, protocols, and methodologies including:
    • Physical and Virtual Infrastructure
    • Network Security
    • Cloud Computing (AWS, Azure, Google, Private)
    • Containerization
    • Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
    • Microservices
    • Static & Dynamic Code Scans

Work Environment:
If working remotely, a reliable internet connection through a cable broadband or fiber optic service provider with a minimum speed of 10Mbps download and 5Mbps upload is required.
