A-Line Staffing Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Laboratory Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of our Cytology and Histology laboratory section.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and manage daily work schedules and assignments to ensure efficient and accurate testing.
- Monitor department turnaround times, investigate and implement corrective actions, and manage inventory and supplies.
- Comply with preventive maintenance and quality control procedures.
- Provide technical guidance and support to laboratory staff in resolving complex problems and investigating incident reports.
- Develop, train, and evaluate laboratory staff, and participate in the hiring process.
- Identify opportunities for improved work methods and suggest cost-saving initiatives.
- Board Certified Cytotechnologist (CT) and/or Histotechnologist with a minimum of 3 years' experience, or Specialist in Cytology (SCT).
- Bachelor's Degree in Laboratory Science.
- Completion of MT/MLS medical laboratory science/CLS clinical laboratory science internship, or equivalent.
- Five years of experience in a diversified hospital laboratory health system and previous supervisory experience.
