Job Summary

The Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) serves as a strategic leader in the nursing department, driving clinical excellence and patient care outcomes. This role requires a strong nursing background, leadership skills, and the ability to mentor and develop nursing staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement nursing standards and policies to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Lead and manage nursing teams to achieve clinical excellence and patient satisfaction goals.
  • Collaborate with hospital leadership and other departments to ensure seamless patient care and service delivery.
  • Provide guidance and support to nursing staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.
  • Develop and manage budgets to ensure effective resource allocation.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Nursing or related field.
  • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of hospital nursing experience, with 3 or more years in a managerial or supervisory capacity.
  • Certified BLS and ACLS required.
  • Preferred experience in rehabilitation nursing and CRRN certification.
