Role Overview:
The successful candidate will serve as the registered manager for their designated area, providing leadership to a team of 12 Service Leaders responsible for 15 services. The Area Operations Manager will be instrumental in driving the region's growth initiatives and enhancing Community Integrated Care's reputation as a leading provider.
Reporting to the Head of Operations, you will oversee the operational and financial performance of multiple services, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and contractual obligations. As a member of the Leadership Team, you will play a vital role in shaping the organization's business planning process, with overall accountability for executing the business plan within your assigned services.
Required Knowledge and Experience:
- Professional qualification in Health and Social Care (e.g., qualified Nurse, Social Worker, SVQ L4, or Care and Management L5)
- Evidence of ongoing professional development
- Medication Level 3 training
- Thorough understanding of person-centered care
- Full UK driving license
- Experience with CI/CQC regulations and inspection processes
- Background in complex care within a health/social care environment
- Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and involvement in complex case reviews
- Experience managing individuals with intensive support needs
- Previous experience across multiple sites in a health and social care context
- Leadership experience in team management
- Budget management experience
- Knowledge of complex care conditions, including epilepsy and autism
