We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at North Suburban Medical Center. As a key member of our Radiology and Diagnostic Imaging Department, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and diagnostic services.
Responsibilities- Operate x-ray equipment to produce high-quality radiographs of designated body parts.
- Under the supervision of a Radiologist, perform x-ray therapy on patients and provide clear explanations of procedures to patients and their families.
- Provide exceptional patient care and support in our emergency department, hospital, and outpatient settings.
- Maintain expert technical and patient-care skills, ensuring quality diagnostic results.
- Completion of an AMA-approved Radiology Technology training program with current certification by ARRT.
- Maintain current registry by attending continuing education activities to stay up-to-date with knowledge and skills.
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, and lifting patients and/or equipment up to 50 lbs.
- Prefer 2 years of recent acute care experience.
