- Communicate Effectively: Maintain open and honest communication with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Maintain a Safe Environment: Ensure the physical environment is safe and secure, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
- Education and Certification: High school diploma or equivalent required; current certification as a nursing assistant or completion of a certified home health aide or homemaker/personal care homemaker training program preferred.
- Skills and Abilities: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; ability to write simple correspondence; effective communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing situations.
- Physical Demands: Physically able to move at least 50 lbs without assistance; able to bend, reach, and work in small areas; able to push and pull equipment and furnishings; able to stand for long periods of time.
