Our client, a locally owned firm in the Triangle, specializes in large-scale and complex projects, particularly in the K-12, correctional, and life sciences sectors across Eastern North Carolina.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preconstruction services, including design and Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) development.
  • Oversee construction projects to ensure compliance with plans and specifications.
  • Manage all aspects of material procurement, scheduling, change orders, Requests for Information (RFIs), pay applications, and subcontractor coordination.
  • Conduct daily coordination with the Project Superintendent to ensure smooth operations.
  • Monitor job costs and prepare monthly financial reports for review by the CFO.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience with North Carolina's design, engineering, and subcontracting trades.
  • A minimum of three years of experience as a Project Manager within North Carolina.
  • Preferred: Degree in Construction Engineering or Construction Management.
  • Familiarity with projects utilizing Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) and Design-Build methodologies.
  • Experience with ProCore software is advantageous.
