Job Summary:

This role is responsible for providing exceptional guest experiences by guiding them to their tables, interacting with guests, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Anticipate and accommodate guest needs, ensuring a seamless dining experience.
  • Maintain the entrance area's cleanliness and orderliness, adhering to health and sanitation standards.
  • Process reservations, answer calls, and assist with coat checks and other guest requests.
  • Participate in daily pre-service meetings and training sessions to enhance knowledge and skills.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to provide excellent service and maintain a positive attitude.
Requirements:
  • Previous hospitality experience, preferably in a high-volume restaurant or nightclub environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to stand, lift, and bend for extended periods, with a maximum weight lift of 50 pounds.
Competencies:
  • Knowledge of Mohegan Sun corporate and department policies and procedures.
Training and Development:
  • Tao Group Hospitality in-venue host training.
Work Environment:
  • Exposure to hot kitchen elements or cleaning materials.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including varying shifts, weekends, and holidays.
