Job Title: Associate Director Systems Engineering - Mission Management IPTL Lead

We are seeking an experienced Associate Director Systems Engineering - Mission Management IPTL Lead to join our team at Raytheon. As a key member of our Systems Engineering team, you will be responsible for leading the Mission Management components through planning, development, and integration and test, ensuring timely delivery and meeting or exceeding scheduled milestones.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the Mission Management IPTL team to execute the component within cost and schedule
  • Be responsible for innovation with respect to modernizing the MM software baseline
  • Develop and hire staff to execute the MM component
  • Provide strategic leadership on new methods to implement and deploy to operations MM baseline with a low risk approach
  • Work with members of the senior management team to support and implement the organization's business strategies
Requirements:
  • Requires a Bachelor's Degree in Technology, Engineering, or related Technical field with a minimum 12+ years' relevant or equivalent experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations
  • Active and transferable Top Secret / SCI Security Clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
  • Previous experience leading Agile/DevSecOps teams
  • Experience leading Engineering Teams on Department of Defense and/or Intelligence Programs
  • Experience driving cost, schedule, and technical performance
  • Experience providing technical Systems Engineering plans
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with any of the following: Cloud technologies and migration to the Cloud, Containerization and databases, Automation (Build, Deploy, Test), Agile tool sets (JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket, etc.)
  • Experience leading large (100 person+) Engineering Teams on Defense and/or Intelligence Programs Software Engineering Experience, developing, testing, and integrating code
  • Experience leading large (50 person+) Engineering Teams on Defense and/or Intelligence Programs
  • Experience ensuring consistency across an integrated product team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities as well as demonstrated ability to effectively work with and communicate with management and individual contributors
  • Understanding of SW development processes
