Job Title: Associate Director Systems Engineering - Mission Management Modernization Lead

At Raytheon, we are seeking an experienced Associate Director Systems Engineering to lead our Mission Management Modernization team. As a key member of our Systems Engineering organization, you will be responsible for leading a large team of engineers distributed across multiple locations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage cost and schedule with an expected budget exceeding $10M annually.
  • Work closely with the customer to shape the scope, modernization roadmap, and perform cost estimation of Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs).
  • Collaborate with Program leadership, Systems and Software Teams, and external stakeholders to execute the effort.
  • Develop and maintain a modernization roadmap in coordination with our customer and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent execution of cloud-based systems.
  • Work with program technical leads on architectural assessments of cloud-based systems to identify and address any vulnerabilities, inefficiencies, and improved resiliency.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Technology, Engineering, or related Technical field with a minimum 12 years' relevant or equivalent experience.
  • Active and transferable Top Secret / SCI Security Clearance is required prior to start date.
  • Previous experience leading Agile/DevSecOps teams and experience leading Engineering Teams on Defense and/or Intelligence Programs.
  • Experience providing technical Systems Engineering plans for a modern, cloud-based, software program and developing technical roadmaps with multiple stakeholders.
