Position Overview: Under the guidance of a licensed medical physician, the Pharmacy Technician will be responsible for the in-office dispensing of oral oncolytic medications to oncology patients. The technician will consistently apply their knowledge and skills to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective pharmaceutical care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Dispense medications following established best practices.
  • Understand and adhere to medication storage requirements.
  • Maintain a medically integrated supply of sample medications.
  • Accurately obtain, enroll, and maintain authorization status for treatment patients.
  • Collaborate with specialty pharmacies.
  • Assist patients in obtaining copay assistance, foundation, or manufacturer support as necessary.
  • Manage inventory effectively.
  • Ensure precise documentation and record-keeping.

Qualifications:

  • Current Certified Pharmacy Technician license.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of state and federal pharmacy regulations and statutes.
  • Previous experience in a healthcare or customer service role.
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency.
  • Exceptional customer service abilities.

Work Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM.
