Join Our Team as an Assembly Technician

We are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team at Desert Tech LLC. As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for assembling our high-quality firearms and ammunition in a warehouse/shop environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Use tools and equipment to complete assemblies
  • Follow standard processes to assemble products to the most current quality standard
  • Follow all rules and regulations in accordance to State and Federal Law, and Company policies to stay in compliance
  • Perform self-assessment of work which will include; visual inspection, physical manipulation of moving parts, and then sequential review of colleagues work which may require constructive feedback
  • Cleaning and packaging of Desert Tech products
  • Adhere to Desert Tech Health, Safety, and Quality guidelines in the Desert Tech facility
  • Maintain a high level of safety in and around the Assembly and Machine Shop area
  • Ensure that all documentation is correct including quantities and other records

Requirements:

  • Must be able to pass a Background Check
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
  • Driver's License
  • Able to sit or stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to handle and test firearms
  • Read, write, speak, and understand English

  • Ability to work in a Team environment with other colleagues
  • Ability to embrace change and participate in continuous improvement activity
  • Lean Manufacturing and 5S Experience
  • Trained and knowledgeable in firearm safety and operation
  • Firearm Industry experience
  • Assembly / Production Experience
  • Good Hand-Eye Coordination / Mechanical Aptitude
  • Good problem-solving skills
