Job Overview

NRDB Utilities, LLC is a privately owned and operated LLC that specializes in underground placement. We are seeking skilled and motivated individuals for full-time employment in our Underground Division.

Key Responsibilities
  • Utilize ladders, crawl spaces, manholes, and trenches to access various installations and construction points as required.
  • Run equipment, dig, place new conduit, change pedestals, lash up new cable, build new strand, and rod and rope underground conduit.
  • Run and pull fiber optic cable, operate equipment, and read and interpret engineered prints and project documentation.
  • Provide daily reports and plans for the next day's work, follow customer-specific procedures, and maintain a safe and secure work environment.
  • Drive a company vehicle while towing a trailer, maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles, and perform daily truck inspections.
  • Have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license, and be willing to work in confined spaces and under various weather conditions.
Requirements
  • Be at least 18 years old, authorized to work in the United States, and possess a high school diploma or general education degree.
  • Have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record, and a valid standard Driver's License or preferably Class B Commercial Driver's License.
  • Completion of an apprenticeship program in the lineman trade or willingness to learn if no prior experience, and experience in telecommunications is a plus.
  • Be willing to travel, work outside in varying conditions, and work mandatory overtime as required.
  • Pass a pre-employment background check, and drug screening, and provide a MVR within 5 days of hire.
