Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at American Family Children's Hospital in Madison, WI. As a Pediatric Pulmonology Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional care to pediatric patients with lung disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Care for pediatric patients with various lung conditions, including acute and chronic conditions.
  • Assist patients and families with management of lung conditions, including breathing assistance.
  • Provide evidence-based, high-quality nursing care via telephone and MyChart.
  • Assist with care coordination and clinic procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to achieve positive patient outcomes.
  • Provide education and guidance to patients and families.

Qualifications

Work Experience
  • 6 months of RN experience required.

Licenses & Certifications
  • Registration as a registered nurse in the state where employed or licensure in a state in the licensure compact and CPR/BLS certification required.
  • Applicable clinical certification preferred.
