Job Summary:

The Division of Pulmonology and Sleep Medicine within the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health is seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Pulmonology and Sleep Medicine Physician to join our team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide family-centered, community-based, culturally competent, coordinated, and interdisciplinary care to our patients.

We are looking for a candidate with a track record of clinical excellence and academic contributions, as demonstrated through training and/or practice experience. The successful applicant will participate in administrative, and committee work to support the clinical and scholarly missions of UW Health and the School of Medicine and Public Health.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide clinical care to pediatric pulmonary and sleep medicine patients in an outpatient and inpatient setting.
  • Teach to a variety of learners, including medical students, residents, and fellows.
  • Carry out independent research/scholarly activity in an area of interest to the candidate and division.
  • Participate in administrative, and committee work to support the clinical and scholarly missions of UW Health and the School of Medicine and Public Health.
Qualifications:
  • Completion of an accredited residency program in general pediatrics is required.
  • Completion of an accredited fellowship program in Sleep Medicine is required.
  • Completion of an accredited fellowship program in Pediatric Pulmonology is optional.
  • Experience in an academic medical setting is preferred.
Education:

Terminal Degree (MD, DO, or equivalent) is required.

License/Certification:
  • Board certified or board eligible in Pediatrics through the American Board of Pediatrics or equivalent is required.
  • Board certified or board eligible in Sleep Medicine is required.
  • Board certified or board eligible in Pediatric Pulmonology is optional.
Work Type:

Full or Part Time: 50% - 100%
