Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Atrium Health. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care in an ambulatory care setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide nursing services in an office setting, working collaboratively with a care team to improve quality, efficiency, and patient satisfaction.
  • Assist with pre-visit planning, medication administration, and vital sign checks.
  • Participate in telephone triage, ensuring accurate data collection and patient education.
  • Document patient care and interactions in the medical record, adhering to established protocols and regulations.
  • Perform laboratory and diagnostic tests, tracking and logging results for providers.
  • Assist with procedures, examinations, and instrument clean-up, maintaining a safe and clean environment.
  • Comply with regulatory standards, including CLIA, OSHA, and The Joint Commission.
  • Report patient reactions and conditions to providers, ensuring timely follow-up and care.
  • Participate in electronic documentation and may enter orders in EMR per provider direction.
  • Complete waived laboratory tests and practice-specific diagnostic testing, adhering to CLIA standards.
Requirements
  • Current LPN license in NC or SC, dependent on practice location.
  • Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing.
  • Previous medical office experience preferred.
  • BLS certification required.
