We are seeking a highly skilled Architectural Designer to join our team at Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. As an Architectural Designer, you will play a key role in creating architectural plans for state-of-the-art facilities in various markets, including industrial, manufacturing, oil & gas, real estate, solid waste, power, and public sector.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with architectural leads to design buildings and various structures;
- Evaluate and resolve problems by reviewing multiple sources of information and coordinating design criteria with other disciplines;
- Develop floor plans, life safety plans, typical wall sections, building sections, and elevations;
- Provide quality oversight for architectural designs performed by others;
- Act as the main point of contact for the architectural discipline when meeting with project managers, other discipline leads, and clients;
- Train and mentor less experienced designers.
- 4+ years' experience working on commercial and heavy industrial/manufacturing projects;
- Demonstrated proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD;
- Ability to work in a team environment with engineers and senior designers;
- Proficient in using Microsoft Suite, including MS Word, Outlook, and Excel;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Ability to perform field/site visits as needed;
- Ability to travel more than 10%.
- Working knowledge of Navisworks and Bluebeam;
- Understanding of architectural codes and standards.
