Job Summary

Crawford Thomas Recruiting is seeking a skilled Refrigeration Technician to join our team. As a Refrigeration Technician, you will be responsible for performing service, installation, and preventative maintenance on all types of commercial refrigeration equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Service and Maintenance: Diagnose and troubleshoot systems, operate, maintain, and repair all makes and models of commercial refrigeration equipment.
  • Installation and Troubleshooting: Install and troubleshoot walk-in, reach-in coolers and freezers, display coolers and freezers, and ice machines.
  • Qualifications:
    • Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
    • Experience: Three to five years of experience in installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting and correcting diverse HVAC service issues.
    • Certifications: HVAC Certification and CFC Refrigeration Certification required and must be maintained.
    • Skills: Basic computer and internet skills, smartphone capabilities, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
    • Availability: Availability to work nights or weekends, on a rotating basis, to service emergency needs of our customers.
