Position Overview:
As a Heavy Equipment Technician, you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of various construction machinery and mechanical equipment. This includes, but is not limited to, trucks, trailers, bulldozers, excavators, motor graders, and other related machinery.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues, ensuring cost-effective and reliable repairs.
2. Disassemble machinery to access and replace defective components using appropriate tools and equipment.
3. Conduct maintenance and repairs on heavy machinery and vehicles across the organization.
4. Perform routine servicing of vehicles and equipment, including oil changes, lubrication, fluid replenishment, and filter replacements.
5. Troubleshoot and repair electrical and hydraulic systems, as well as diesel and gasoline engines.
6. Manage inventory by ordering necessary parts and supplies, maintaining accurate purchase orders and invoices.
7. Adjust and install functional components and structural parts in machinery.
8. Test machinery performance post-repair to ensure optimal functionality.
9. Execute welding tasks on broken components and structural elements.
10. Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote safety and efficiency.

Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, candidates must demonstrate the ability to fulfill essential duties effectively. The following qualifications are required:
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical documents, safety protocols, and maintenance manuals.
